Mystery Blond is a creative agency in Brooklyn, NY specializing in branding, art direction, fashion styling, and graphic design.  We work with a wide array of clients to help them find their voice and unique aesthetic in order to stand out online, in-print, and in person.

Founding partner, Quinn Asteak, has been working in branding since 2001 when she joined the creative department at Kate Spade as their first full-time intern. During college, she took a variety of graphic design and art classes and graduated magna cum laude from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration in Media, Art, & Identity Theory.

Quinn then went on to have a decade-long career in the fashion industry as a stylist, fashion editor, and designer.  She worked for magazines such as PAPER, Teen Vogue, Lucky, BUST, Numero, and FOAM. Meanwhile, she freelanced as a stylist for major brands including Target, Sephora, Macy’s, Anna Sui, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Kenneth Cole. During that time she also started an accessory brand entirely produced in Morocco and co-created a small clothing line called TheseThreeThings.

After all that, Quinn wanted to add a new dimension to her skill set so she went back to school to study nutrition. She opened a practice as a health coach then taught cooking classes and led educational programs at the famed Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture. This was another deeply nourishing decade (pun intended) but soon Quinn realized that her favorite part of running those entrepreneurial ventures was all the graphic design and branding.

In 2019, Mystery Blonde was formed. Quinn now lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with her husband, their chubby baby, and two dogs— a Great Dane named Ruben and a short-legged rescue pup who answers to either Ziggy or Susan Lucci.
